These are the words of renowned Arno Burnier, a chiropractor, husband, father, friend, mentor, and beloved student of Life. In his lifetime, he raised the vibration in all things health, healing, wellness, and well-being. He believed in serving the chiropractic adjustment from a heart-centered space of Love. He believed in turning on the Light.

MLS Adjusting Seminars were developed by Master Chiropractor Arno Burnier, D.C. in 1984. MLS was born out of his own frustration from being adjusted in a style which brought the spine to maximum tension. As a result, he developed and refined an innovative way of adjusting by bringing the neuro-spinal system to physiological "peace and ease" prior to the “thrust force.” By allowing the spinal cord-meningeal system to "float", within the neural canal, the spine and person are kept in a state of deep relaxation. The “thrust force” can then travel throughout the entire system for integration making the MLS method of adjusting a tonal approach.

Now, more than ever, the sacred art of honoring specific adjustments is of vital importance. In a world where toxins are stacked against us, where people are still learning how to feel safe after the pandemic, where drug commercials are pounded into half-asleep minds, the time to act is now. When the rest of the world around us is so talking so loud, turning inwards into the all powerful, all healing Innate Intelligence within becomes a necessity. This is how we step into Service. We cannot fight disease. We must Trust in Life.

Arno Burnier taught throughout the states and internationally. He was a revered public speaker and well-known within the chiropractic community. A master adjuster, in his later years he would often practice in complete silence, bringing an immense Presence to the adjustments facilitated. In his most recent public speaking event, just months before he ultimately transitioned over in 2024, he spoke about how we now live in the “Age of Consciousness.” With information readily at our fingers, the next growth stage does not come from what we know. It comes from what resonates from within our hearts. 

“There is a liquid crystal oscillator within us that vibrates with Truth. It is also a bullshit detector.”

And so the question becomes:

What level is our Consciousness at?

What are we attuning our heart-oscillator to?

Are we getting lost within the noise?

Are we trapped within the illusion of separation?

Are we choosing to live a life of Trust?

Are we committed to the Path of Mastery?

And here is the call for us all into the Heart of Service.

Mastery.

Where we are committed to continued physical, emotional, mental and spiritual growth to master our sacred art. Waking up, meditating, journaling, moving our body, training, doing the work. Warming up before adjustments. Taking care of our physical vessel. Receiving the care we need. Going to sleep on time. Eliminating drugs and toxicity. Eliminating toxic habits and relationships. Living the life we preach and walking the walk. Ultimately, becoming a Master of the Self so that we can get out of our own way to facilitate core healing continuously, congruently, and coherently.

Love.

Love transcends all. It is from this Presence in which the human ego is merely a tool to be used by the heart, not the other way around. The opened heart, attuned to the higher vibrations of Love and Light is omnipresent and omnipotent. It does not need to postulate or articulate. It does not need to rationalize, theorize, and hypothesize. It does not need to understand in order to heal nor facilitate healing. And it is from this non-judgmental, unconditionally loving Presence in which we Serve the man, woman, child, or infant before us.

Service.

It’s Service for the sake of Service. Where we don’t need to be praised, bribed, or revered for our care. It’s a simple Service facilitated by rapport and connection. All we desire is to follow and commune with that bigness that is Innate. Thus, leading us into the vulnerability of real-time consciousness, into the letting go of outdated beliefs to embrace core healing and a healthier relationship within our Self, our mind-body and the decisions we make. Service that calls us into action. Into leaving the bullshit behind. Into being what we gotta be for each person. Into letting go of expectations and unleashing a relentless Trust in Life.

These are the things that Arno stood for. He believed in training to Serve others as a quarter-million dollar athlete. He saw something in us Chiropractors, our Light potential to shift the Consciousness of humanity. His mission stands strong to this day within the MLS community at large, constantly evolving and reverently pulling the Consciousness of our sacred art, from the Heart of Service, onwards and upwards, raising our vibration, one adjustment at a time.
